Negative Declarations

Suffolk County - The Town of Southampton Town Board, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Hampton Bays Hamlet Center Strategy Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of the Hampton Bays Hamlet Center Strategy Plan as an amendment to the Town's Comprehensive Plan. The project is located in Hampton Bays in the Town of Southampton.

Nassau County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed construction of a new Woodmere Middle School for the Hewlett-Woodmere Union Free School District, SED Project No. 28-02-14-03-0-017-001, may have a significant environmental impact and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves 146,227 square feet of new construction on existing property. The project is located at 1170 Peninsula Boulevard in the Town of Hewlett.

Nassau County - The City of Glen Cove Planning Board, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Gateway Plaza Site Plan may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the proposed site plan for a 46,000 square foot supermarket with accessory parking. The project is located on the southeast side of Route 107 in the City of Glen Cove.

Extension of Public Hearing on Draft Generic EIS

Nassau County - The Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Roslyn Harbor has extended the public hearing on the Draft Generic EIS for the proposed Zoning Ordinance of Roslyn Harbor. The hearing will be held on January 10, 2000 at 8:15 PM at the Incorporated Village of Roslyn Harbor, 500 Motts Cove Road South, Roslyn Harbor. Public comments on the document will be accepted by the contact person until 10 days following the close of the hearing.
