Project Description: The applicant requests after-the-fact approval for a three lot subdivision of a 217.33 acre parcel creating a 20 acre lot, a 52.03 acre lot and a 143 acre lot. The subdivision involves wetlands and the creation of a non-shoreline lot in a Rural Use land use area less than 80,000 square feet in size. The project requires an Agency permit pursuant to 810(1)(b)(1)(b), 810(1)(d)(1)(b) and 810(2)(c)(2)(b) of the Adirondack Park Agency Act and 9 NYCRR Part 578. Specifically, the applicant requests: an after-the-fact approval for a 20 acre lot containing wetlands in a Rural Use land use area with an existing post-1973 single family dwelling, detached garage and on-site water and wastewater treatment systems currently owned by Robert & Lorna Brewer, after-the-fact approval for a 53.83 acre lot containing wetlands currently owned by David & Carl Crikelair with 52.03 acres located in a Moderate Intensity Use land use area and 2.8 acres located in a Rural Use land use area along with approval for the construction of one single family dwelling served by on-site water and wastewater treatments systems on said lot. The remaining 143 acres of the Baldwin estate will be conveyed in its entirety with plans for further future subdivision and new land use and development that will require review and approval by the Adirondack Park Agency. The project is located in the Town of Chester, Warren County, east side of Atateka Drive and the west side of Stock Farm Road.

Draft EIS

Essex County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft EIS on the proposed construction of a new Bus Garage for the Crown Point Central School District, SED Project No. 15-02-03-04-5-003-001. Comments are requested on the Draft EIS and will be accepted by the contact person until January 5, 2000. The action involves the construction of 2 repair/work bays and 10 storage bays totaling 9,246 square feet located on the existing school site. The project is located on Main Street in Crown Point, New York.

Public Notice - Removal of Trees in the Forest Preserve

Warren County - The Department of Environmental Conservation as required by Commissioner's Delegation Memorandum #84-06 is providing public notice that construction of a parking area located on state lands adjacent to the West Hague Road in the Town of Hague requires the removal of 36 trees in an area of approximately 0.25 acre. Other improvements include grading, installing culverts and ditching to control erosion. The project was identified in the Pharaoh Lake Wilderness Unit Management Plan completed in 1992.
