Revised Positive Declaration and Draft EIS

Nassau County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed construction of a New Elementary School in the Freeport Union Free School District, SED Project No. 28-02-09-03-0-016-001, may have a significant environmental impact and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement has been prepared. Comments are requested on the Draft EIS and will be accepted by the contact person until January 4, 2000. The action involves 68,000 square feet of new construction on existing property. The project is located at 80 Raynor Street in the Village of Freeport.

Draft EIS

Suffolk County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft EIS on the proposed new construction of the Maintenance/Grounds Facility in the BOCES Western Suffolk School District, SED Project No. 58-93-00-00-7-053-001. Comments are requested on the Draft EIS and will be accepted by the contact person until December 30, 1999. The action involves 5,590 square feet of new construction. The project is located on 762 Deer Park Road in Dix Hills, NY.
