Negative Declarations

Monroe County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has determined that for the West Irondequoit Central School District, the proposed construction of a new Briarwood Elementary school, SED Project No. 26-08-03-06-0-029-001; the proposed construction of a new Brookview Elementary school, SED Project No. 26-08-03-06-0-028-001; the proposed construction of a new Listwood school, SED Project No. 26-08-03-06-0-027-001; and the proposed addition and alteration to the Irondequoit High School SED Project No. 26-08-03-06-0-001-018 will not have a significant environmental impact.

Wayne County - The Town Board of the Town of Macedon, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed adoption of proposed Local Law No. 3 of 1999 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the establishment and location of a Salvage, Recycling, Screening, Processing and Composting (SRSPC) Overlay District in accordance with section 135-187 of chapter 135 (Zoning) of the Macedon Town Code. The project is located at 2230 Creek Road in the Town of Macedon.

SERP Action - Reaffirmation of Negative Declaration

Livingston County - The Village of Lima, as lead agency pursuant to the NYS Clean Water/Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and the State Environmental Quality Review Act issued a negative declaration on June 24, 1999, this notice reaffirms that determination. The action involves the upgrade of the existing Village of Lima Wastewater Treatment Plant. The proposed improvements will increase the overall design capacity of the plant to approximately 400,000 gallons per day.

Positive Declaration & Scoping

Yates County - The Yates County Legislature as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Yates County Court and Office Expansion & Renovation project may have a significant impact on the environment and that a draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. Project will involve renovations of existing buildings, additions to existing buildings, construction of new buildings, and related activities. The Positive Declaration is being made because the action may have a significant adverse impact upon historic resources. The expansion and renovation would take place within and adjacent to two historic districts (the Penn Yan and Courthouse Park Historic Districts) and would impact historic buildings. The project is located in an area adjacent to and including the existing Yates County Office Buildings and Court House, 110 Court Street, Penn Yan, NY 14527.

Draft EIS

Monroe County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft EIS on the proposed construction of a new Middle School in the East Irondequoit Central School District, SED Project No. 26-08-01-06-0-013-001. Comments are requested on the Draft EIS and will be accepted by the contact person until December 30, 1999. The action involves approximately 120,000 square feet of new construction. The project is located in Densmore Park in the Town of Irondequoit.
