|SERP Project - Reaffirmation of Negative Declaration|
Orange County - Pursuant to the NYS Clean Water/Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and the State Environmental Quality Review Act, the following action has been undertaken: Construction of a New Water Treatment Plant, DWSRF No. 15968. A negative declaration was issued on August 15, 1994, this notice reaffirms that determination. The action involves the construction of a membrane style filter plant in the Black Rock Forest to filter surface water. The entire plant will be constructed on Village owned property within the forest and will require the demolition of the existing treatment building and the construction of a new building to house the filter system. The project is located in the Village of Cornwall on Hudson.

Westchester County - The Town of Greenburgh, as lead agency, has accepted a final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Westchester Meadows Continuing Care Retirement Community. The action involves the proposed Westchester Meadows continuing care retirement community, consisting of 120 independent-living units, 10 assisted-living units and 20 affiliated-nursing beds, constructed on a 29,497-acre parcel of land. The project is located in the northeastern portion of the Town of Greenburgh at the Town of Mount Pleasant border, in central Westchester County, New York.
