Project Description:
 The applicant proposes to construct a cast-in-place concrete retaining wall along a 204 foot section of the east bank of the Ausable River im- mediately upstream of the Main Street Bridge in Keeseville. The retain- ing wall will be 190 feet long by 16 feet high by 1 foot wide and will be anchored into the adjacent bedrock. The wall is required to stabilize this section of riverbank which was badly eroded during a 1996 flood event and will serve to protect several businesses located in buildings of historic significance located along Front Street. The ap- plication may be reviewed by making an appointment with the contact person.

Project Description:
 The Department has received a request to re-issue a SPDES permit for a continued discharge of 300 gallons per day of treated wastewater to groundwater that is generated from daily operation of a veterinary clinic. Through an oversight in Department records, the permittee was not sent a renewal notice and application form and as a result the permit has temporarily lapsed. There is no discharge from the facility at this time and no discharge will take place until a permit is issued. The veterinary clinic is located along NYS Route 11 in North Bangor.
