Chautauqua County - The Town of Chautauqua, as lead agency, has determined that the expansion of Chautauqua Heights Campground by up to 190 campsites. The project involves the expansion of Chautauqua Heights Campground by up to 190 campsites. The proposed new sites would be constructed in phases over a period not to exceed five years. They would extend to the north and west of the existing campsites. Each new site would have a full water and sewer hookup. The expansion would require the construction of roads within the campground to service the new sites and additions to the existing sewer and water systems to meet the increased demand. The project is located at 5652 Thumb Road in the Town of Chautauqua.

Niagara County - The Town of Lockport I.D.A., as lead agency, has determined that the 1999 Exel. Logistics, Inc. Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The project involves acquisition of 2.0 acres of land adjacent to existing facility and construction of 91,500 square foot addition to existing warehouse, distribution and management center on site. Site located in existing industrial park. The project is located at 4890 I.D.A. Park Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.

Draft EIS & Hearing

Erie County - The Town of Lancaster as lead agency has accepted a draft EIS for the proposed NEC Transit/William LLC Rezoning Amendment. The project involves Rezoning approximately 36 acres of property from CMS Commercial Motor Service and R1 Residential District 1 to GB General Business. The project is located Transit Road (Route 78) and Williams Street in the Town of Lancaster. Comments on the draft EIS will be accepted by the contact person until December 20, 1999. A public hearing on the draft EIS will be held on December 8, 1999 at 7:00 PM at the Senior Citizens Center, 100 Oxford Avenue, Lancaster, NY.
