Columbia County - The Village Board, Village of Kinderhook, as lead agency, has determined that the Adoption of Comprehensive Plan by Village Board, Village of Kinderhook will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The project involves adoption of a Comprehensive Plan for the entire village of Kinderhook. The plan discusses and includes recommendations for physical and environmental features, historic resources, transportation, municipal facilities, cultural and municipal facilities, cultural and recreational facilities and land uses. Recommended land use changes include revising a portion of the IA/dwelling unit residential district to a 3A/dwelling unit agricultural/residential district with required conservation subdivisions to ½ A min. lot sizes, restricting uses in the 100 yr. flood plain area and modifying the historic district regulations. In the Zoning Law to a separate law as recommended by NYS Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.

Albany County - The Town of Guilderland as lead agency has accepted a draft EIS for the proposed Omnipoint Telecommunications Tower. The project involves the proposed construction of a telecommunication facility for Omnipoint consisting of a 125 foot tower, a 20' x 25' fenced service yard and a 170' x12' access road. Comments on the draft EIS will be accepted by the contact person until December 25, 1999. The project is located on Settles Hill Road in the Town of Guilderland.
