Negative Declarations

Chemung County - The Town of Catlin Town Board as lead agency has determined that the proposed Darby Estates Subdivision will not have a significant adverse impact on the environment. The project involves the proposed construction of a 16 unit residential subdivision. The project is located in the Town of Catlin.

Wayne County - The Village of Clyde Village Board as lead agency has determined that the proposed Renovation of 17 Columbia Street will not have a significant adverse impact on the environment. The project involves the proposed acquisition and renovation of a building at 17 Columbia Street using HUD funds under the Erie Canal Corridor Initiative. Renovation will include improvements to the first floor storefront, the creation of a one bedroom apartment on the second floor, facade improvements and essential structural repairs. The project is located in the Village of Clyde.

Livingston and Allegany Counties - The NYS Department of Environmental Conservation as lead agency has determined that the Adoption of the Livingston Unit Management Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves setting forth the proposed goals, objectives, management actions and associated costs for the management of 9,669 acres of State Forest Land and Wildlife Management areas within Livingston County and northeastern Allegany County. The plan details management activities for a ten year period, from 2000 - 2010. Management activities planned for this unit include: The general maintenance of the facilities, forest, wildlife management and land acquisition. The partial construction of access roads on Ossian State Forest and the construction of access roads on the Rattlesnake Hill Wildlife Management Area, which would include a culvert/bridge over Sugar Creek and the placement of gates or other barriers to motorized traffic on th! e Livingston Unit; creating and maintaining up to 483 acres of open fields and logging up to 378 acres annually; creating a three acre shallow water impoundment on Ossian State Forest and other smaller permanent water sources throughout the unit; in large areas of cattails, marsh channels and potholes will be constructed; excavating the bottoms of existing ponds and possible sale of the topsoil. Leasing of up to 61 acres of cropland. There will also be recreational improvements. The project is located in three State f orests and two Wildlife Management Areas located in the Towns of Conesus, Groveland, Mt. Morris, Nunda, Ossian, West Sparta and Grove.

Monroe County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed construction of a New Bus Garage for the Webster Central School District, SED project No. 26-19-01-06-5-028-001, will not have a significant environmental impact. No unmitigated adverse environmental effects are revealed. No unmitigated adverse environmental effects are anticipated. Pursuant to 6NYCRR Part 617, and applicable provisions of Section 155.5 of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education, the requirements of the State Environmental Quality Review Act for this proposed action have been met.

Draft EIS

Monroe County - The Town of Penfield Planning Board as lead agency has accepted a draft EIS for the proposed Mayer Farm Subdivision. The project involves the proposed construction of 169 single family homes on a 109.8 acre site. The project is located on east side of Five Mile Lane in the Town of Penfield.

Monroe County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft EIS on the proposed construction of a new Transportation Facility for the Churchville-Chili Central School District, SED Project No. 26-15-01-06-5-009-001. Comments are requested on the Draft EIS and will be accepted by the contact person until December 7, 1999. The project includes approximately 10,000 square feet of new construction. The project is located on Fairbanks Road in Churchville.

Wyoming County - The State Education Department, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft EIS on the proposed additions and alterations to the Warsaw Elementary School, SED Project No. 67-15-01-04-0-007-005. Comments are requested on the Draft EIS and will be accepted by the contact person until December 7, 1999. The action involves the addition of approximately 55,000 square feet of space and the reconstruction of other space. The project is located at West Court S., Warsaw.
