Proposed Rule Making and Public Hearing and
Public Information Meetings to Amend Water Quality Regulations
In the December 13, 2006 edition of the Environmental Notice Bulletin (ENB), the Department of Environmental Conservation published a Public Notice concerning the proposed amendments to Parts 700 - 704 of Title 6 of the Official Compilation of Codes, Rules and Regulations of the State of New York (6 NYCRR). The purpose of this Supplemental Notice is to remind the public of several upcoming Public Information Meetings scheduled throughout the State during January 2007, and that a legislative public hearing will be held on Monday, February 5, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Rooms 129A and 129B at the offices of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation located at 625 Broadway, Albany, New York 12233.
Written comments about the proposed amendments to Parts 700 - 704 may be filed on or before February 14, 2007 with Scott Stoner, Chief, Standards and Analytical Support Section, Bureau of Water Assessment and Management, Division of Water, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, 625 Broadway, 4th Floor, Albany, New York 12233-3502, or electronically to Mr. Stoner at sxstoner@gw.dec.state.ny.us.
