Positive Declaration

Dutchess County - The Town of Union Vale Zoning Board of Appeals, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Dawn Sun Corp. (Verbank Deli) may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the addition of gasoline sales to an existing retail and residential facility. Site Plan and Special Use Permits are required from the Town of Union Vale Planning Board. Five variances were applied for from the Union Vale Zoning Board of Appeals. On March 11, 2020, the Zoning Board adopted a SEQRA Positive Declaration that includes a plan for Scoping. The project is located at 3122 Route 82 in Verbank, Town of Union Vale, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Orange County - The Town of Montgomery Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Medline Industries Distribution Center. The Final EIS is available from the Montgomery Town Clerk Office, Town Hall, 110 Bracken Road, Montgomery, NY; Village of Montgomery Library and on line at: http://townofmontgomery.com/government/planning-board.html.

The action involves the development of a warehouse distribution center located on 103.1 acres of land near the intersection of Neelytown Road and NYS Route 416 and immediately north of Interstate 84 (I-84) in the Town of Montgomery, New York. The warehouse distribution center would consist of a single building containing 1,295,590 ± square foot of space, 263 truck stalls, 528 spaces of parking for employees and trucks, stormwater facilities, two access driveways, new utilities, landscaping and lighting. Related actions include extension of Town water and sewer districts to the project and improvements to County and State roads. The project requires a special exception use permit and site plan approval from the Planning Board.
