Negative Declaration

Suffolk County - The Town of Southampton Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 2287 Montauk Highway, LLC will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. Based on a change in circumstances, the Town of Southampton ZBA rescinded the Conditioned Negative Declaration previously adopted on April 5, 2018, and published in the ENB on May 2, 2018, and adopted a Negative Declaration in connection with the revised application of 2287 Montauk Highway, LLC, on February 21, 2019. This revised application remains an Unlisted Action and seeks additional variances from the Town Code for the waiver of five parking spaces and to permit an increase in lot coverage for a proposed two story building. The project is located at 287 Montauk Highway in Bridgehampton, Town of Southampton, New York.

Amended Negative Declaration

Suffolk County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Sand Land Corp Mine Deepening will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal by the applicant to mine an additional 40 vertical feet below the current floor of the mine. The project is located on Middle Line Highway in Bridgehampton, Town of Southampton, New York.

Notice of Availability of Draft Scope

Suffolk County - The Village of Huntington Bay Board of Trustees, as lead agency, has made the Draft Scope for the proposed Crown Castle NG East LLC - Special Permit Application available. The Draft Scope is available from Huntington Bay Village Hall, 244 Vineyard Road, Huntington Bay, NY 11743 and on line at: www.huntingtonbay.org. The action involves a proposal by the applicant, Crown Castle NG East LLC, for a special permit from the Incorporated Village of Huntington Bay Board of Trustees, pursuant to Chapter 90 of the Village Code, to install Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) equipment at sixteen (16) locations within the Village's public rights-of-way. The proposed equipment will be installed on a combination of existing and proposed poles. The project is located throughout the Village of Huntington Bay, Town Huntington, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final SEIS

Suffolk County - The Town of Riverhead Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed sPower Calverton. Comments on the Final SEIS will be accepted until April 4, 2019. The Final SEIS is available from the Riverhead Town Clerk; the Riverhead Planning Department; the Riverhead Public Library and on line at: https://www.townofriverheadny.gov.

The action involves the preparation of a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) prepared by the Lead Agency pursuant to a SEQRA Positive Declaration issued by the Riverhead Planning Board on October 4, 2018 in response to new, significant, and previously undisclosed information related to the subdivision of land, site plan, special permit, and requested easements within public and private real property for the development of a solar power generating facility, including a 20 megawatt alternating current (MWAC) solar photovoltaic (PV) panel array facility and 8,670 ± linear foot of underground transmission generation tie-in (gen-tie) line within a 15 ± foot wide easement connecting the solar panel array facility to a proposed solar collection facility. The project is located at 4153 Middle Country Road in Calverton, Town of Riverhead, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Suffolk County - The Incorporated Village of Port Jefferson Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed 250 East Main Street/Donut Shop. The Final EIS is available from the Port Jefferson Village Hall; the Port Jefferson Free Library; the Port Jefferson Building and Planning Department and on line at: www.portjeff.com.

The action involves a Site Plan Amendment and Conditional Use application that proposes a change of use from "Retail" to "Restaurant/Standard" in Retail Unit #3 in a prominent and iconic structure in the commercial center of the Village of Port Jefferson. The structure, known as the First National Bank building, is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The project is located on the northeast corner of Main Street at 250 East Main in the Incorporated Village of Port Jefferson, Town of Brookhaven, New York.
