GM Tarrytown North Draft Restoration Plan

The Restoration Plan is the result of a settlement of the natural resource damages claim for injury related to the Former GM Tarrytown North site. This plan details guidelines for restoration projects to be done in the surrounding area, affecting the Hudson River and the Pocantico River. The plan will be finalized after a 30 day comment period.

The project is located in the Town of Tarrytown, Westchester County, New York

Comments on the Draft Plan will be accepted by the contact listed below until July 20th, 2018.

Negative Declaration

Dutchess County - The City of Beacon Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Hudson Hills Academy will not have a significant adverse environmental impact.

The action involves the subdivision of a 9.88 acre parcel with an existing church, school building, rectory and garage into two lots so that the school building is located on its own parcel for use as a private school. Parcel 1 will contain the school building and is proposed to consist of one-acre. Parcel 2 will contain the existing church, rectory and garage and is proposed to consist of 8.88 acres. The parcel is in the R1-7.5 Zoning District and the Historic District and Landmark Overlay Zone.

The project is located at 850 Wolcott Avenue (aka 40 Rector Street) in the City of Beacon, New York.

Sullivan County - The Town of Forestburgh Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Solar Legislation will not have a significant adverse environmental impact.

The action involves the regulation of certain solar energy systems and their taxation. The project is located throughout the Town of Forestburgh, New York.

Ulster County - The Town of Rochester Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Local Law #3, amendment to Town of Rochester Code Chapter 140, Zoning will not have a significant adverse environmental impact.

The action involves an amendment of Chapter 140, Zoning, of the Town of Rochester code allowing for establishment of an Economic Enterprise Overlay (EEO) zone to foster economic development, diversification of land uses and employment generation through the reuse and/or redevelopment of underutilized properties.

The project is located throughout the Town of Rochester, New York.
