Negative Declaration

Madison County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Miller Lake Beaver Dam Repair will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves: A section of c(t) class Oneida Creek, within NYS Class 1 Freshwater Wetland MO-9, was impounded by beavers creating the water body known as Miller Lake. The dam, which has previously been modified by humans, has begun to fail and a breach is lowering the water levels of the lake. Rock rip rap has been proposed to repair a 50 foot section of breach at the outflow of Miller Lake. The project is located at Miller Lake, South of Oxbow Road, West of Peterboro Road.

Tompkins County - The Ithaca Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Building addition and site improvements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The applicant proposes to expand and convert a single family home into a congregate living facility for up to 16 individuals. The expansion will involve the demolition of an existing garage and the construction of a two-story addition containing 4 bed rooms, expansion of the existing parking area, and installation of walkways, a terrace and patio and other site improvements. The project is in the Cornell Heights Historic District and has received ILPC approval. The project is located at 111-115 The Knoll.
