Negative Declaration

Dutchess County - The City of Beacon Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Edgewater will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the subdivision (lot merger) and Site Plan Approval in connection with the construction seven apartments buildings containing a total of 307 units following the demolition of two existing structures and the merger of four lots into a single 12 acre parcel, with water and sewer service connections to existing water and sewer mains. The project is located at 22 Edgewater Place, Beacon, New York.

Dutchess County - The Village of Wappingers Falls Board of Trustees, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Local Law No. 7 of the Year 2017 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of a local law to abolish the Police Department of the Village of Wappingers Falls and authorize the Mayor to execute an agreement with the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office for additional police services in the Village of Wappingers Falls, Dutchess County, New York. The project is located throughout the Village of Wapppingers Falls, New York.

Sullivan County - The Town Board of the Town of Mamakating, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Construction and Use of D&H Canal Rail Trail will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the acquisition of easements and construction and use of the D&H Canal Trail. The trail is proposed as a 10 foot wide and approximately 8,000 foot long multi-use trail with a surface material that will be fully accessible to all non-motorized users. The project is located in the Town of Mamakating and Village of Wurtsboro, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing

Westchester County - The Village of Mamaroneck Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Hampshire Country Club Planned Residential Development. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on February 14, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mamaroneck Village Hall, 169 Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Mamaroneck, NY 10543. The public comment period on the Draft EIS will end 30 days from the close of the public hearing. A hard copy of the Draft EIS is available at the following location: Mamaroneck Village Hall, 169 Mt. The proposed action is a planned residential development on the 94.5 acre portion of the Hampshire Country Club located in the Village of Mamaroneck's R-20 zoning district. The proposed development would result in a total of 105 units on the subject property, consisting of 44 single-family residences and 61 townhouses. The existing membership club located on the marine residential (MR) zoned portion of the site (clubhouse, pool and parking) would remain, and a portion of the existing golf course would be replaced by the proposed homes. The remainder of the golf course would be reconfigured as a 9-hole course. The project is located 1025 Cove Road, Village of Mamaroneck, NY.
