Negative Declaration

Madison County - Madison County, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Clockville Water District will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The residents in the Hamlet of Clockville, located in the Town of Lincoln, New York, do not currently have access to public water. Those currently dependent on private wells have reported poor water quality and odor issues in recent years. The proposed improvements generally consist of the installation of approximately 3 miles of new 8 inch diameter ductile iron water main and appurtenances and approximately 125 water services. The new water main will extend from the existing Agricultural & Renewable Energy Park transmission main on Oxbow Road. The new water system will be supplied by the existing Onondaga County Water Authority (OCWA) water system in the Town of Lincoln.
