The applicant proposes to install one (1) 4-inch diameter well to a depth of 200 feet. The well shall be equipped with a pumping capacity of 50 gallons per minute (gpm). The purpose of the well is for the irrigation of lawn, trees and shrubs. The proposed well site is located at 2 Hunting Lane, Old Westbury, Town of North Hempstead, Nassau County. NCTM# 10/291/83.

State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:

Cultural resource lists and maps have been checked. The proposed activity is not in an area of identified archaeological sensitivity and no known registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures were identified or documented for the project location. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.

Coastal Management:

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

Opportunity for Public Comment:

Comments on this project must be submitted in writing to the Contact Person no later than Nov 24, 2017.

Project Description:

The applicant proposes to continue an existing construction and demolition debris processing operation. The facility receives and processes recognizable uncontaminated, concrete, asphalt, rock, brick, and soil; unadulterated wood; yard waste; and tree debris. The facility has been operating under a NYSDEC registration for a number of years and is currently being required to obtain a Part 360 (Solid Waste Management Facility) permit; no increase in throughput or change in operation is proposed. The proposed project is located at 1 High Street in Speonk, Town of Southampton in Suffolk County, SCTM# 900-326-1-4 & 17, 900-301-3-1.
