Conditioned Negative Declaration - Amended

Westchester County - The Village of Mamaroneck Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 1216 Henry Avenue Subdivision will not have a significant adverse environmental impact provided specific conditions are met. The public comment period on the amended Conditioned Negative Declaration will end December 8, 2017.

The action involves a 3 lot subdivision located at 1216 Henry Avenue in the Village of Mamaroneck, New York. The Village of Mamaroneck Planning Board has adopted an amendment to a Conditioned Negative Declaration. previously finally adopted on June 8, 2016.

The conditions are:

  1. Applicant shall provide an under drain to storm water system on Lot 1 below the perimeter piping which carries overflow from all 3 lots.
  2. Construction, Inspection Maintenance Declaration against each of the three lots shall be recorded in Westchester County Clerk's Office.
  3. Applicant shall provide a performance bond to ensure completion of storm water Improvements to be in effect for 1 year after date or final acceptance of improvements.
  4. Applicant shall maintain a maintenance bond to ensure proper operation and maintenance of storm water improvements post construction.
  5. Applicant shall limit rock removal and associated trucking to 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedule Monday to Friday with no weekend activities.
  6. Maintain a 20 foot distance between existing Lot 2 house and proposed house on Lot 1 and 16 foot between existing house on lot 2 and proposed house on lot 3.
  7. Proposed 2 new houses shall be limited to 2. 750 square foot of FAR including the garage

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Orange County - The Village of Kiryas Joel Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Veyoel Moshe Gardens. The Final EIS is available from the contact listed below, the Monroe Public Library at 44 Millpond Parkway, Monroe, NY 10950 and on line at: https://vmgardensdeis.wordpress.com/.

The action involves a proposal by the applicant, MYM Management, Inc. for a Site Plan approval to construct approximately 1,600 dwelling units on approximately 70 acres of property, which is located the intersection of Nininger Road (County Highway 64) and Bakertown Road (County Route 105) in the Village of Kiryas Joel, New York. The subject site is served by municipal water and sewer service.
