Negative Declaration

Delaware and Otsego Counties - The Village of Sidney as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Water System Improvements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the removal of existing Peckham Dam located in the Town of Bainbridge; the development of a new groundwater drinking water supply and treatment facility on a site located in the Town of Unadilla; the construction of a new transmission water main to connect the new groundwater supply to the existing Sidney water system; and the replacement of old asbestos and undersized water distribution main throughout the Village of Sidney. The project is located throughout in the Village of Sidney, the Towns of Sidney, Unadilla and Bainbridge, in the Counties of Chenango, Delaware and Otsego, New York.

Schenectady County - The Town of Glenville Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Town of Glenville Comprehensive Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of a new Comprehensive Plan for the Town of Glenville. The 2017 Comprehensive Plan replaces the previous Glenville Comprehensive Plan, adopted in April, 1990. The project is located throughout the Town of Glenville, New York.

Schenectady County - The Town of Rotterdam Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of a Mixed Use Zoning Overlay District will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of three new overlay districts Main Street/Neighborhood Center, Corridor Commercial, and Commercial Planned Use Development located in three sub-areas of the Town of Rotterdam. The first overlay district area is the Hamburg Street NY 7/NY 146 Area on the eastern end of the Town of Rotterdam with land use and development opportunities and challenges. The Study Area covers approximately 768 acres in the vicinity of Hamburg Street, Carman Road, and Curry Road. As a result, the NY 7/NY 146 Land Use and Transportation Study was completed in May 2008 to provide a stronger framework for future land use recommendations and zoning. The second sub-area is the Rotterdam Junction Brownfield Opportunity (BOA) Study Area. This Study Area includes approximately 475 acres in the hamlet of Rotterdam Junction adjacent to the Mohawk River. The recommendations provided in the BOA Study (Sub-Area Plan) and corresponding designation were completed in 2011. The third area is the Five Corners Land Use and Transportation Study Area. The Study Area covers approximately 220 acres in the vicinity of Curry Road, Guilderland Avenue, Broadway, Princetown Road, and Duanesburg Road. The land use study was completed in 2011 and the recommendations are included in the proposed mixed use zoning designation. The project is located throughout the Town of Rotterdam, New York.
