Negative Declaration

Oneida County - The Town of Verona, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Willow Place Improvements and Extension Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The proposed project involves the construction of a new connector road beginning at the intersection of NYS Route 365 and the NYS Thruway Exit 33 ramp and extending west to Willow Place (an existing roadway). In addition, the proposed project involves improvements to the existing Willow Place and the installation of approximately 3,000 linear feet of sewer main to connect to infrastructure owned by the New York State Thruway Authority (NYSTA). Improvements to Willow Place involve widening of the road by a minimum of 10 feet and the installation of curbing and a closed drainage system. These improvements are proposed in order to accommodate the anticipated additional traffic generated by future development. Sanitary sewer improvements will involve the installation of sewer main and laterals to serve NYSTA's Exit 33 Maintenance Facility and toll booth. The new sewer main will run from the NYSTA facilities, along Willow Place Extension, where it will then connect to existing sewer main at Willow Place. The project is located in the Town of Verona, New York.
