Project Description:

The applicant proposes to cut monoculture stands of Phragmites along the shoreline and excavate the root system, then fill the excavated areas with clean compatible sand and replant area with native wetlands vegetation within tidal wetlands known as Georgica Pond. The project is located at 92 Georgica Close Road, East Hampton, Town of East Hampton, Suffolk County, SCTM # 301-12-1-7.1

The proposed activity is not subject to review in accordance with SHPA. The application type is exempt and/or the project involves the continuation of an existing operational activity.

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

Project Description:

The applicant proposes to install three new 4-inch diameter irrigation wells to a depth of 65 feet below grade. Two of the wells will be equipped with a pumping capacity of 40 gallons per minute and the third well will be equipped with a pumping capacity of 75 gallons per minute. The three new wells will be used in conjunction with two existing 40 gallon per minute wells to irrigate up to 11 acres of turfgrass and landscaping. The estimated yearly pumpage is 2.016 million gallons. The project is located at 250 Sagaponack Main Street, Sagaponack, Town of Southampton, SCTM #'s 908-3-1-8,9,10.
