Public Meeting Notice

Shandaken SPDES Semi-Annual Meeting

The New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYC DEP) is pleased to announce that the next semi-annual public meeting, held per the Shandaken SPDES permit, will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 29th, at the Schoharie Watershed Office, 6049 Main Street, Tannersville, NY. NYC DEP will discuss the progress of activities conducted pursuant to the SPDES permit.

The meeting is open to the public and public input is welcome.

Negative Declaration

Dutchess County - The Town of Red Hook Zoning Board of Appeals, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Orange County-Poughkeepsie Ltd Partnership d/b/a Verizon Wireless "Bard College Micro Cellular Communications" will not have a significant adverse environmental impact.

The action involves the Applicant represented by Scott P. Olson of Law Firm Young/Sommer LLC, application for a Use Variance to erect, a commercial, communications receiving and/or transmitting facility, in the form of two ballast mounted antennae, on the non-historic addition, of the library building at Bard College. The existing roof is 60' high, and the antennae would extend 8' above the roof. The proposed antennae is model CYL-X7CAP-2, Small Cell Cantenna S Pol, 698-896/1710-2170MHz, 2 ft. The project is located at 1400 Annandale Drive, Annandale, NY (Town of Red Hook).

Sullivan County - The Town of Fallsburg Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Rosemond Solar will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the development of a Solar Farm using ground mounted Photovoltaic cell panels on a portion of forested land. The Solar farm will cover approximately 23 acres. The proposed use will be located and orientated so that it will generally be hidden from the nearby road and existing home sites. The project is located at 191 Rosemond Road, Woodridge, NY 12789, Town of Fallsburg, New York.
