Negative Declaration

Genesee County - The Town of Batavia Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Muckdog Solar I and Muckdog Solar II will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of two adjacent solar array systems, each capable of producing 2 MW-ac energy located at 2901 Pearl Street Road in the Town of Batavia, New York. The projects will consist of ground-mounted, fixed-tilt solar photovoltaic panels mounted on posts driven approximately 6 to 10 foot into the ground and mounted on racks. The solar farms will operate as a Community Distributed Generation (CDG) facility as prescribed by the New York State Public Service Commission under electric tariffs of the National Grid Electric utility.

Monroe County - The New York State Department of Transportation (NYS DOT), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Mt. Read Boulevard will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves addressing the pavement condition of Mt. Read Boulevard within the project limits. Work also will include intersection improvements, drainage improvements, pavement repairs, signal upgrades and sidewalk repairs/replacement. The project is located on Mt. Read Boulevard from Buffalo Road (State Route 33) to Lyell Avenue (State Route 31) in the City of Rochester, New York.
