Negative Declaration

Cortland County - The Virgil Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed SUN8 Solar Energy project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of two separate 2 MW solar energy projects on a total of 26 acres of land, to be connected to National Grid. The project is located at 2872 Page Green Road in Cortland, Town of Virgil, New York.

Onondaga County - The Town of Marcellus Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Local law to Amend the Town of Marcellus Zoning Law of 2009 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the enactment a local law that would add a new Subsection (N), entitled Solar Energy Systems, to Section 24 of the Town of Marcellus Zoning Law of 2009, which would permit and regulate the siting and construction of solar energy systems in the Town of Marcellus in a manner that preserves the health, safety and welfare of the public while also facilitating the production of renewable energy. The project is located throughout the Town of Marcellus, New York.
