Positive Declaration

Schenectady County - The Town of Glenville Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 45 Mohawk Waterfront Planned Development District may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves a Zoning map amendment application by Prime Mohawk, LLC to change the zoning of 84.74 acres of property from Riverfront Recreation/Commercial, Suburban Residential, Research/Development/Technology, and Land Conservation to Waterfront Planned Development for the purpose of constructing a mixed residential use development consisting of 160 rental condominiums, 37 townhouses, 31 single-family homes, clubhouse and pool, public playground, public tennis and basketball courts, public boat launch access road, gazebo/picnic area, showroom/maintenance facility and boat storage area. The project is located at 45 Mohawk Avenue in the Hamlet of Alplaus, Town of Glenville, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing

Dutchess County - The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (NYS OPRHP), as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Adoption and Implementation of a Master Plan for Taconic State Park. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on August 16, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town of Copake Town Hall, 230 Mountain View Road, Copake, NY 12516. The meeting is accessible to people with language differences and/or disabilities. A person who needs an interpretive or disability-related accommodation or modification to participate in the meeting may make a request by contacting Sara Hart at 518-486-2909 or sending a written request Providing your request at least five business days before the meeting will help ensure availability of the requested accommodation. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until September 15, 2017. The action involves the adoption of a draft master plan for the Taconic State Park which outlines potential capital improvements, operational enhancements and natural and cultural resource stewardship within the park for the next ten to fifteen years. The plan also recommends designation of the park as a NYS Bird Conservation Area and Natural Heritage Area.

The Taconic State Park is located Columbia and Dutchess Counties, New York.
