Negative Declaration

Westchester County - The Village of Tarrytown Board of Trustees, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Local Law to Chapter 305 to the Code of the Village of Tarrytown will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the clarifying the zoning status of property remaining in private ownership after a portion of a lot has been subject to a taking by eminent domain. The project is located throughout the Village of Tarrytown, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing

Orange County - The Village of Kiryas Joel Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Veyoel Moshe Gardens. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on July 23, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at 51 Forest Road in Kiryas Joel, NY. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until July 28th 2017, or 10 days after the close of the Public Hearing, whichever is later. The Draft EIS is available from the Village of Kiryas Joel Village Hall; the Monroe Free Library on 44 Millpond Parkway in Monroe, NY and on line at: https://vmgardensdeis.wordpress.com/ at least 14 days prior to the Public hearing.

The action involves a proposal by the applicant, MYM Management, Inc., for Site Plan approval to construct approximately 1,600 dwelling units on approximately 70 acres of property, which is located the intersection of Nininger Road (County Highway 64) and Bakertown Road (County Route 105) in the Village of Kiryas Joel, New York. The subject site is served by municipal water and sewer service. The subject site is located within the PD zoning district where the proposed use is permitted by right subject to Site Plan Approval by the Village of Kiryas Joel Planning Board

Westchester County - The City of White Plains, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed 200 Hamilton Avenue Rezoning and Development (Hamilton Green) . A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on August 7, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. at the White Plains City Hall, 255 Main Street, 2nd Floor, White Plains, NY 10601. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until August 17, 2017. The Draft EIS is available on a CD at a cost from the White Plains City Clerk's Office, 255 Main Street, White Plains, NY 10601 and on line at:http://www.whiteplainsny.gov.

The action involves a petition by W.P. Mall Realty, LLC to rezone property at 200 Hamilton Avenue in the City of White Plains New York. The proposed action would rezone the project site from the existing B-2 Neighborhood Business District to a new TD-1 Transit Development 1 District which would facilitate it redevelopment as a mixed-use residential/commercial project with a maximum Floor Area Ratio (FAR) of 5.5 (897,902 square foot). As proposed, the Hamilton Green development would include approximately 900 multi-family residential units (810,000 gross square foot); a Food and Craft Hall (42,000 gross square foot) and street level retail (48,000 gross square foot); 1,060 parking spaces; street level open space (22,400 gross square foot); an elevated and publicly accessible open space (29,600 gross square foot); and an elevated private open space for residents of the project (5,000 gross square foot). The project site is currently developed with a 2 story, approximately 170,000 square foot retail shopping mall and approximately 360 parking spaces.

The project is located in the block bounded by Hamilton Avenue (NYS Route 119), Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, Barker Avenue and Cottage Place in the City of White Plains, New York.
