Tree Removal for Construction of Multiple Use Trails

The action involves the removal of 5 trees along with their stumps to facilitate construction of a multi-use trail on Elm Ridge Wild Forest. This construction project is included in the approved Unit Management Plan (UMP) for the Elm Ridge Wild Forest. Tree cutting will be in compliance with LF Policy 91-2 on Cutting, Removal or Destruction of Trees and Other Vegetation on Forest Preserve Lands.

The Elm Ridge Wild Forest is located in the Town of Windham, Greene County, New York.

Negative Declaration

Albany County - The Albany Water Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Tivoli Park Preserve Stream Daylighting Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the daylighting of approximately 1,700 linear feet of Patroon Creek, and construction of a high flow overflow channel for safe overland conveyance of stormwater flows. Additionally the project is proposing to construct screening chamber at the Quail Street and Judson Street stormwater outlets and redirect flows, through existing drainage channels, to Tivoli Lake. The project is located in Tivoli Park in Albany, New York.

Albany County - The Town of Berne Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed T-Mobile Co-location will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the co-location of an additional cellular telephone carrier on an existing communications tower. The project is located at 496 Long Road in East Berne, Town of Berne, New York.

Albany County - The Town of Guilderland, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed McKownville Stormwater Drainage Improvements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The Hamlet of McKownville, a residential and commercial neighborhood at the eastern end of the Town of Guilderland, has experienced chronic stormwater drainage problems for many decades resulting in severe flooding, extensive damage to homes and businesses, and decreasing property values. The Town of Guilderland has been involved in planning and securing funding for a stormwater improvement project for several years in order to protect public safety and preserve the quality of life in the community. The project will include construction of additional catch basins, residential sump pump connections, approximately 17,000 feet of underground conveyance piping, and street regrading and paving. An undersized pipe crossing Western Avenue at Norwood Street will be replaced with a larger pipe and a new trunk storm sewer will be constructed along McKown Road to an outfall on the west branch of the Krum Kill Creek The project is located near Western Avenue in the Hamlet of McKownville, Town of Guilderland, New York.

Albany County - The Town of Guilderland, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Guilderland Rotterdam Water Interconnect will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a permanent interconnection (pump station and meter) between the Town of Guilderland and the Town of Rotterdam; a transmission line between West Lydius Street and West Old State Road; and replacement of the existing Fort Hunter Water Tank on the same site located in the vicinity of Route 146 and Jennifer Court. This project, together with the repair/replacement of the Town of Rotterdam's Helderberg Water Tank as well as new source capacity under development in Rotterdam together with existing intermunicipal agreements between the Town of Guilderland and City of Albany, Town of Bethlehem and Village of Voorheesville as well as between the Town of Rotterdam and City of Schenectady will provide regional water supply redundancy, allowing drinking water to flow from Schenectady through Rotterdam through Guilderland to the City of Albany, Town of Bethlehem and Village of Voorheesville, and water could likewise flow in a reverse direction from the City of Albany to the City of Schenectady. The project is located along West Lydius Street, Old State Road, Route 146 and Jennifer Court in the Town of Guilderland, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final SEIS

Rensselaer County - The Town of East Greenbush Town Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Tempel Lane Campus (Phase II). The Final SEIS is available from the Town of East Greenbush Town Hall, 225 Columbia Turnpike; the East Greenbush Community Library, 20 Community Way, East Greenbush and on line at: eastgreenbush.org.

The action involves the development of a pharmaceutical facility consisting of office, laboratory, manufacturing, parking and warehouse facilities (the warehouse was previously approved). The project is located on Tempel Lane in the Town of East Greenbush, New York.
