Project Description:

The applicant (Dubja Realty Corp.) is proposing the development of 138 townhouse units on a 70.8 acre parcel in the Town of Monroe, Orange County, as well as 3 commercial lots. The proposed development would be connecting to an existing Orange County wastewater treatment facility for sewage disposal and obtaining potable water through two onsite groundwater wells. The maximum daily demand for water is 115,000 gpd. A Water Quality Certification is also required for the disturbance of federal wetlands associated with the placement of 53 cubic yards of fill, in an area of 0.018 acres.

Coastal Management:

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

DEC Commissioner Policy 29, Environmental Justice and Permitting (CP-29)

It has been determined that the proposed action is not subject to CP-29.
