Public Notice

Pursuant to Section 30-a of the Public Lands Law, the New York State Office of General Services (NYS OGS) hereby gives notice to the following:

Notice is hereby given that the Office of General Services has determined that the vacant parcel of land located on the southwest corner of Bronx River Road and Midland Avenue, City of Yonkers, Westchester County, consisting of 7,705 ± square feet, is no longer useful or necessary for their purposes and has declared the same abandoned for sale or other disposition as unappropriated State land.

Negative Declaration

Ulster County - The City of Kingston, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Broadway Streetscape Project - Kingston Connectivity Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the rehabilitation of Broadway in the City of Kingston, New York, from St. James Street to Grand Street to improve safety and traffic flow for motorists, pedestrians, transit users and bicyclists and to revitalize the corridor. The project includes new Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant sidewalks and curb ramps, high-visibility crosswalks, new traffic control signals, pedestrian signals and count-down timers, new roadway surface including reducing travel lanes from two in each direction to one in each direction with a center turn lane, bicycle signals, protected bike lane, lighting improvements, green infrastructure, street trees and street furniture.

Ulster County - The City of Kingston Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 300 Flatbush Avenue - Landmark Place will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a site plan / special permit application to the City of Kingston Planning Board for 66 residential units constructed in 2 buildings. Thirty four (34) units will be created within a renovated historic building formerly occupied by the Ulster County Health Department. Thirty two (32) units will be created in a newly constructed building on the same site. Associated site improvements are also being proposed including lighting, landscaping, utilities, etc. The 14.9 acre parcel is also being considered by the City of Kingston Common Council to be rezoned from RR single family residence to R-6 multiple residence. The project is located at 300 Flatbush Avenue in the City of Kingston, New York.
