Project Description:

The proposed development includes connection to utilities, construction of sidewalks and roadway improvements along and within the bed of Freeborn Street, which is located to the northwest of the property. The project is located within the adjacent area of NYSDEC regulated Class I Freshwater Wetland NA-9 (Dongan Hills). The project is located at 150 & 152 Freeborn Street, Block 3791, Lots 10 &11, in Staten Island.

State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination:

Project is not subject to SEQR because it is a Type II action.

State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:

Evaluation using a Structural-Archaeological Assessment Form or other information has concluded that the proposed activity will not impact registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures.

Coastal Management:

This project is located in a Coastal Management area and is subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

Opportunity for Public Comment:

The project is located at the corner of Freeborn Street and Hunter Avenue, Block 3791, Lot 8, in Staten Island.
