Negative Declaration

Monroe County - The City of Rochester Director of Planning and Zoning, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 8C Prince Street parking lot will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal to create a parking lot ancillary to a principal use, the Strathallan Hotel, which is in an adjacent planned development district (PD 16). The lot would hold 135 vehicles, expanding an existing 121 space lot at the hotel. Access would be from Strathallan Park (a city street) on the east, and from Prince Street on the west via an easement over 10 Prince Street. The lot would be graded to provide a consistent 4% slope from the southwest corner down to the northeast corner. The parcel is in a district listed in the National Register of Historic Places and that is a city preservation district. The project is located at 8C Prince Street in the City of Rochester, New York.

Wayne County - The Town of Wolcott Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Hollygrove Solar, LLC will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the installation of an approximately 3,000 kW solar photovoltaic array system consisting of ground-mounted, solar panels in either a fixed-tilt or single-axis tracking configuration. The project will operate as a Community Distributed Generation (CDG) facility as prescribed by the New York State Public Service Commission under the electric tariffs of Rochester Gas and Electric. As a CDG facility, the Project will provide clean energy to the existing electrical grid operated by Rochester Gas and Electric and offer local customers the opportunity to contract for energy at or below current market rates. The Project also includes the granting of certain incentives from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority. The project is located at 7233 Route 104A in the Town of Wolcott, New York.
