Negative Declaration

Cayuga County - The Village of Aurora Board of Trustees, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Local Law # 3 of 2017 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of Local Law # 3 to regulate Cherry Avenue as a one-way Village street. The project is located Cherry Avenue in the Village of Aurora, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final SEIS

Madison County - The Town of Cazenovia Town Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed 2017 Application (Treatment) of the Herbicide Renovate 3 (Triclopyr). The Final SEIS is available from the Town of Cazenovia Town Hall, Gothic Cottage, 7 Albany Street, Cazenovia, NY 13035 and on line at: www.townofcazenovia.org.

The action involves the treatment of up to 250 + acres of the littoral (nearshore) zone of Cazenovia Lake through the application of the herbicide "Renovate 3". The treatment is designed to address the increased presence and proliferation of the invasive aquatic plant Eurasian watermilfoil (Myriophyllum spicatum) which had dominated the aquatic plant community in recent years. This action represents a fifth phase of treatment (2017 treatment) and will complement previous treatments of affected areas of the Lake. The project is located on Cazenovia Lake in the Town of Cazenovia, New York.
