Negative Declaration

Ontario County - The Naples Central School District, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Naples Central School District Capital Improvements Project 2017 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the acquisition of property consisting of approximately 3.82 acres contiguous to the Naples Central School District along Widmer Lane, located on North Main Street, in addition to renovations at the District's High School and Elementary School, including, but not limited to vehicular drive renovation, parking lot and sidewalk renovations, landscaping and building additions and renovations, as well as demolition of the existing bus facility and construction of a new bus maintenance facility to include security lighting, fencing, a stormwater maintenance system, sanitary system, associated utilities and landscaping. The project is located at 2 Academy Street, 136 Main Street and 1 Lake Niagara Avenue in Naples, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft GEIS and Public Hearing

Monroe County - The Penfield Town Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Mixed Use Zoning District. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on May 3, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Penfield Town Hall Auditorium, 3100 Atlantic Avenue, Penfield, NY 14526. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted by the contact listed below until 5:00 p.m. on May 26, 2017. The Draft EIS is available from the Penfield Town Hall; the Penfield Public Library and on line at: http://www.penfield.org/Mixed_Use_Districts.php.

The action involves a proposal by the Town of Penfield Town Board to consider amendments to the Official Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map including the creation of a new Mixed Use Zoning District and rezoning 360 ± acres currently zoned Rural Residential 1 (RR-1), Rural Agricultural 2 (RA-2) and Limited Business (LB), to Mixed Use, and accepting the Mixed Use Development Manual. The project is located on 54 properties along a portion of Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd (Route 250) totaling 360 ± acres in the Town of Penfield, New York.
