The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) has received a Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) application and Draft Remedial Investigation Work Plan from RXR SoYo Exalta Owner LLC for a site known as Larkin Plaza, site ID #C360156. This site is located in the City of Yonkers, within the County of Westchester, and is located at 25 Warburton Avenue. Comments regarding this application must be submitted no later than May 5, 2017. A copy of the application, Draft Remedial Investigation Work Plan, and other relevant documents are available at the document repository located at Yonkers Public Library, One Larkin Center, Yonkers, 10701. Negative Declaration

Orange County - The Village of Kiryas Joel Board of Trustees, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Mountainville Well No. 2 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the development of a redundant well at the Mountainville Wellfield on property owned by the Village of Kiryas Joel on NYS Route 32 in the Town of Cornwall, New York. The redundant well satisfies a New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) requirement pursuant to Special Condition No. 3 of the Village of Kiryas Joel's Water Withdrawal Permit, WSA #11,609, which was issued by NYS DEC on or about October 1, 2015. This action will not result in an increased taking over and above the 2.54 mgd authorized by the current permit.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Westchester County - The Village of Sleepy Hollow Local Development Corporation (LDC), as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed East Parcel Redevelopment. The Final EIS is available from the Village of Sleepy Hollow Village Hall, 28 Beekman Avenue, Sleepy Hollow; the Warner Library 112 North Broadway, Tarrytown, NY 10591 and on line at:

The action involves the redevelopment of approximately 28 acres of land for a new municipal Department of Public Works facility; municipal parking; active and passive recreation; and a new proposed vehicular overpass spanning the existing Metro-North rail lines and connecting the project site to lands on the west side of the rail lines. The project is located at 60 Continental Street in the Village of Sleepy Hollow, New York.
