Negative Declaration

Jefferson County - The Town of Pamelia, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Revision of Subdivision Law Section 305, Procedural Waiver will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of revisions to the Town's Subdivision Law Section 305 pertaining to the Procedural Waiver. The project is located throughout the Town of Pamelia, New York.

Oneida County - The Village of Oneida Castle, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Sanitary Sewer Collection System Installation will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the Village of Oneida Castle intention to install a Sanitary Sewer Collection System to serve the properties within the Village. The proposed sanitary sewer collection system will connect to the City of Oneida's existing sanitary sewer system, with the ultimate point of treatment at the City of Oneida Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). The proposed project will include the installation of approximately 25,000 linear feet of piping consisting of sanitary sewer lines and force mains, two intermediate pump stations and five (5) grinder pumps. The project will be funded, in part, by the Clean Water State Revolving Fund. The project is located throughout the Village of Oneida Castle, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Comment Period

Jefferson County - The Town of Lorraine Town Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Adoption of a Local Law to Regulate Wind Energy Facilities. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until March 25, 2017. The Draft EIS is available from the contact listed below and on line at: http://townoflorraine.com/.

The action involves the adoption of a local law to promote the effective and efficient use of the Town of Lorraine's wind energy resource through Wind Energy Conversion Systems to prevent blight, excessive noise and pollution of the environment, and to regulate the placement of such systems so that the public health, safety and welfare will not be jeopardized. The project is located throughout the Town of Lorraine, New York.
