The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) has received a Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) application from Community Potential, Inc. for a site known as Former Stow Manufacturing, site ID #C704058. This site is located in the City of Binghamton, within the County of Broome, and is located at 435 State Street. Comments regarding this application must be submitted no later than February 24, 2017. A copy of the application and other relevant documents are available at the document repository located at the Broome County Public Library, 185 Court Street, Binghamton, NY 13901. Negative Declaration

Oswego County - The Town of Hannibal, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Water District #3, Extension #1 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the installation of approximately 90,000 linear feet of water distribution mains, valves, hydrants and water service lines. All work will be done in the road right-of-way. The project is located along portions of County Route 7, County Route 36, County Route 3, part of Peat Bed Road, Harris Hill Road, Kelley Road, Dennison Road, Pellet Road and a few small areas in the vicinity all in the Town of Hannibal, New York.
