Negative Declaration

Ontario County - The Town of Hopewell, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Central Water District Extension No. 3 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the installation of a total of approximately 11,210 linear feet of 8 inch waterline along portions of Smith Road and County Road 4. Activities include the installation of watermain, fire hydrants, valves, watermain connections, residential hook-ups, road crossings, excavation and bedding materials, and surface restoration. In addition, a pressure reducing vault is proposed on Smith Road, south of County Road 4. The purpose of the project is to address serious health and safety problems and ensure that residents of this area have a reliable supply of good quality water and fire protection. The project is located along portions of Smith Road and County Road 4 in the Town of Hopewell, New York.

Wayne County - The Macedon Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed High Acres Landfill and Recycling Center Grading/Fill Permit will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves moving approximately 3.1 million cubic yards of soil from the landfill cell construction areas in High Acres Landfill; bounded by Perinton Parkway on the North, Wayneport Road on the East, CSX Railroad on the South, and the Monroe/Wayne County line on the west, to the north side of Quaker Road onto other lands owned by Waste Management of New York, LLC.. The project is located at 281 Quaker Road in the Town of Macedon, New York.
