Negative Declaration

Steuben County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of the Habitat Management Plan (HMP) for Helmer Creek Wildlife Management Area (WMA) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of a HMP for Helmer Creek WMA to guide habitat management on this area to benefit wildlife and facilitate wildlife-dependent recreation for a ten year time period. The planning process included a comprehensive inventory of habitats on the WMA, establishing management objectives and target species for each habitat type, and the development of strategies and actions that can be implemented over the next decade to achieve habitat management goals. The plan includes extensive background information, management history, and a series of maps depicting WMA location, sensitive ecological resources, and planned management actions. The project is located at Helmer Creek WMA in the Town of Rathbone, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final SEIS

Monroe County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has accepted a Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed High Acres Landfill and Recycling Center, Parkway Expansion Phase III, Title V Air Permit Modification. The action involves the Parkway Expansion Phase III, a lateral expansion of the High Acres Landfill & Recycling Center, Title V Permit Renewal and Modification. There were no comments received on the Draft SEIS. Therefore, the Final SEIS references the Draft SEIS and indicates there were no public comments or comments from USEPA. Therefore, there is no responsiveness summary required.
