State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:

A cultural resources survey has been completed and cultural resources were identified. Based on information provided in the survey report, the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) has determined that the proposed activity will have no adverse impact on registered or eligible archaeological sites or historic structures. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.

Coastal Management:

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

Project Description:

The project sponsor proposes to physically disturb approximately 1.1 acres of the state regulated 100 foot adjacent area of Freshwater Wetland ML-12 (Class II) for the purpose of constructing stormwater management structures associated with an ~8 acre commercial development project known as Crossroads at Baldwin Place. The proposed development includes four multi-story buildings (each approximately 24,000 square feet in size) - one (1) commercial building, two (2) senior affordable housing rental apartment buildings, and one (1) non-age restricted rental apartment building.
