Negative Declaration

Warren County - The Village of Lake George Board of Trustees, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Village of Lake George Publically Owned Treatment Works (POTW) improvement project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The involves upgrades to the Village of Lake George's POTW/sewage treatment plant as described in section 7, of the "Village of Lake George Evaluation and Treatment Plant Upgrade Project" prepared by AES Northeast last revised November 13, 2015. The project is being undertaken in accordance with New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) Order on Consent R5-20140530-2120 and New York State Environmental Facilities Corp (NYS EFC) Project Number 5571-4-00. The project is located in Village of Lake George, New York.

Warren County - The Town Board of the Town of Queensbury, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Proposed Local Law of 2016 to Amend Zoning and Sign Codes will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the Adoption of a proposed local law to (1) amend six sections of the Town of Queensbury Zoning Code, (2) amend Table 1: Table of Area Requirements, (3) amend Table 3: Summary of Allowed Uses in Commercial Zoning Districts, and (4) amend three sections of the Town of Queensbury Sign Code. The proposed changes would (a) clarify the regulations apply to residential uses in the Office zoning district, (b) allow motels and convention centers by special use permit and amend area requirements in the Enclosed Shopping Center zoning district, (c) allow indoor firing ranges by special use permit in the Commercial Intensive zoning district, (d) allow interior storage facilities by special use permit in the Neighborhood Commercial Zoning District, (e) assign a Commercial Light Industrial zoning district designation to three properties without prior district designations, and (f) amend the sign code to regulation LED fuel pump price signs and prohibit window signs for interior storage facilities. The project is located at throughout the Town of Queensbury, New York.
