Pursuant to Section 33 of the Public Lands Law, the New York State Office of General Services (NYS OGS) hereby gives notice to the following:

Notice is hereby given that the New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities has declared 142 Sycamore Drive, New Windsor, located in the Town of Cornwall, Orange County, New York State, improved with a single family dwelling on a 2.08 ) acre lot, with tax identifier Section 1, Block 1, Lot 5.15, surplus, no longer useful or necessary for State program purposes, and has abandoned the property to the New York State Commissioner of General Services for sale or other disposition as Unappropriated State Land.

Negative Declaration

Orange County - The Town of Goshen Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Introductory Local Law No. 4 of 2016: Regulations for Wind and Solar Energy Systems will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the proposed adoption of the Introductory Local Law No. 4 of 2016 proposes to amend Chapter 97 (Zoning) of the Code of the Town of Goshen to provide regulations for wind and solar energy systems within the Town of Goshen. The project is located throughout the Town of Goshen, New York.

Sullivan County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Wells Pond Dam Reconstruction will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal by the applicant to reconstruct the dam impounding Wells Pond, which extends from the Town of Highland to the Town of Bethel, including the removal of the remnant structure which requires excavation in to Wells Pond (NYS Waters Index # D-25-183) and disturbance to the outlet stream Halfway Brook (NYS Waters Index # D-25, Class B(t). The dam, DEC ID # 148-0837, was breached during storms in 2005. The project is located on State Route 55, 4 miles north of Eldred in the Town of Highland, New York.
