Negative Declaration

Jefferson County - The Town of Brownville, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Water District No. 2 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a new water distribution system along County Route 59 (Doane and Middle Road), South Shore Road, and portions of Road 365 and Stone Road in the Town of Brownville, New York. The proposed project would purchase water from the Village of Dexter and the Village of Cape Vincent via the Western Jefferson County Regional Waterline. The project would provide water to new users which currently utilize onsite water systems which have quality and quantity issues. Multiple wells within the project area have been found to be contaminated with petroleum.

Jefferson County - The Village of Cape Vincent, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Public Dock Expansion will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the expansion of the existing Village docks located on Esseltyne Street in the Village of Cape Vincent, New York. The expansion involves constructing floating docks off of the existing fixed dock.

Jefferson County - The Sackets Harbor Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Madison Barracks Landscaping will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the addition of a shed to property in the Village Center, the Historic Overlay and National Register District. The project is located at 104 General Smith Drive in the Village of Sackets Harbor, New York.
