The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) is pursuing a Department Initiated Modification and renewal to the State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit NY0003808 pursuant to 6NYCRR Part 750-1.18, NYS DEC's Environmental Benefit Permit Strategy. A Notice of Complete Application was published in the Environmental Notice Bulletin on 6/29/2016, with the public comment period ending on 08/01/2016: http://www.dec.ny.gov/enb/20160629_reg7.html#703460003200007.
The public comment period will be extended until September 30, 2016. A Public Statement Hearing, Public Availability Session and Legislative Public Hearing are being scheduled. Further information will be provided.

Madison County - The Town of Georgetown Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Dominion Transmission, Inc. Natural Gas Pipeline Compressor Station will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the applications from Dominion Transmission, Inc. (Dominion) for Special Permit / Site Plan Review and Subdivision Approval to undertake site preparation and construction of a facility to provide additional compression on Dominion's pipeline facility passing through the Town of Georgetown as part of Dominion's "New Market" project. The project is located on Wilcox Road off NYS Route 80 in the Town of Georgetown, NY.
