Negative Declaration

Suffolk County - The New York State Department of Transportation (NYS DOT), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed NY 112 Reconstruction, Long Island Expressway (LIE) to Granny Road will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. This project will include reconstruction of NYS Route 112 from LIE (I-495) to Granny Road. The project will install new pavement, continuous sidewalks, pedestrian crosswalks and signals. The work being done under the project will be consistent with NYS DOT's complete streets planning goals. A hard copy of the Draft Design Report is available at: Design, NYSDOT, 250 Veterans Memorial Highway, Hauppauge, NY 11778. An on-line version of the Draft Design Report is available at the following publicly available website: https://www.dot.ny.gov/rt112. The project is located on NYS Route 112, LIE (I-495) to Granny Road in the Town of Brookhaven, New York.
