Project Description: Treat one, 0.02 acre patch of Japanese knotweed (Reynoutria japonica) located along the right-of-way of 10 Mile Road in Grieg, NY. The control method selected is to apply a treatment of a glyphosate based herbicide in accordance with the "Inter-Agency Guidelines for Implementing Best Management Practices for the Control of Terrestrial and Aquatic Invasive Species on DEC Administered Lands in the Adirondack Park." A combination of foliar spray and stem injection treatment of glyphosate will be utilized.

Project Description: Treat four patches of common reed grass (Phragmites australis) located along the shore and in a wetland adjacent to Brandy Lake in the Black River Wild Forest. The control method selected is to apply a treatment of a glyphosate based herbicide in accordance with the "Inter-Agency Guidelines for Implementing Best Management Practices for the Control of Terrestrial and Aquatic Invasive Species on DEC Administered Lands in the Adirondack Park." A combination of foliar spray and stem injection treatments of glyphosate will be utilized. The combined treatment area is less than one half (0.5) acres in size.

Negative Declaration

St. Lawrence County - The County of St. Lawrence, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed St. Lawrence County, NY Public Notice 911 Public Radio System Upgrade Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The County of St. Lawrence, as the project sponsor, is seeking to upgrade the emergency communication system(s) currently in use by public safety agencies (fire, EMS, law enforcement and public works) throughout the County. The proposed upgrade includes the installation of new self-supporting lattice radio towers at two locations in Massena and Lisbon and replacement towers in Kimble Hill (T/O Russell) and White Hill (T/O Hopkinton). Installations generally consist of the tower/antennae, a control building, emergency backup generator within a fenced compound. The table below indicates project locations.
