Project Description:

The department has made a tentative determination to issue a SPDES permit for the discharge 34,000 gallons per day of treated sanitary waste to the groundwater located at Pulaski Road and Elwood Road, Greenlawn, New York. The proposed discharge is located with an area designated as a sole source aquifer. The following public water purveyors have been identified as having service areas located within a three mile radius of the applicant's facility: 1) Suffolk County Water Authority. SPDES NY-0286796

Negative Declaration

Suffolk County - The Town of Huntington Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Huntington (UUFH) Parking Site Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal by the applicant for a parking lot improvements including new drainage, site lighting and other miscellaneous items at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Huntington. The site is a four (4) acre property zoned R-80 Residence District. It is located just south of the George McKesson Brown Estate - Coindre Hall, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. The project is located on the northwest side of 109 Browns Road and south of Bayberry Lane in the Town of Huntington, New York.
