Project Description:

Project Description:

The Applicant proposes to dredge approximately 2,200 cubic yards of sediment with off-site upland disposal and processing. The dredged area will be backfilled with a clean sand/gravel fill material to restore the riverbed to pre-dredge elevations. The purpose of the dredging is to facilitate the remediation of the project site pursuant to Consent Order W2-1114-07-12. The project is located in the Flushing River, adjacent to the Flushing Industrial Park, 40-24 College Point Blvd, Queens.
