Negative Declaration

Cayuga County - The Town of Brutus, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Zoning Amendment will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the addition of zoning for electric vehicle charging at homes and as stations. The project is located throughout the Town of Brutus, New York.

Contact: Angela Skellington, Town of Brutus, 9021 North Seneca Street, P.O. Box 720, Weedsport, NY 13166, Phone: (315) 834-9398, E-mail: townofbrutus@centralny.twcbc.com.

Oswego County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, Gulliver East Gravel Pit will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The new mine will have a 15.2 acre Life of Mine within a 200.2 acre parcel of property. The mine will include excavation of unconsolidated sand and gravel reserves using a front end loader or hydraulic excavator. Mining will remain at least two feet above the seasonal high water table at all times. Erosion control berms will be constructed to direct surface water inward, preventing any off-site drainage of sediment laden surface water. The mine will be reclaimed to vegetated open fields, and the mine perimeter will be graded to a maximum slope of two horizontal to one vertical. The project is located along the eastern side of Red Schoolhouse Road, 4,500 feet north of the intersection with Clifford Road in the Town of Palermo, New York.
