Project Description:

The applicant proposes to install a new irrigation well at the facility listed above, to be used for nursery stock. Installation and operation of one (1) 6-inch diameter irrigation well. This well shall be installed to a depth of 90 feet and be equipped with a pumping capacity of 120 gallons per minute. The annual limit will be 2.5 million gallons per year.

The Department has prepared a draft permit and made a tentative determination to approve this application for a modification to an existing discharge of 14,500 gallons per day of sanitary wastewater to groundwater at the applicant's facility, Caumsett State Park. Changes to the facility include upgrades to the to the disposal system and changes to the outfalls and flow rates.
