Negative Declaration

Chautauqua County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Beckerink Mine Expansion will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a 9.8 acre expansion to the existing 4.7 acre sand and gravel mine out of 84.5 acres owned by the applicant at this location. There will be no changes to the operating schedule, the mining methods or processing equipment used, and no mining into the groundwater table. The mined area will be reclaimed to a level agricultural field with surrounding 3 to 1 horizontal to vertical slopes in meadow. The project is located Southside of Bailey Hill Road in the Town of Mina, New York.

Niagara County - The Town of Wheatfield Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Niagara International Sports and Entertainment will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The project will construct twin 96,000 square foot air-supported structures (total 192,000 square feet) for multi-purpose sports fields and courts. The structures will be a maximum of 75 feet in height. They will be located in the existing parking area on the east side of the Summit Park Mall (behind the mall as viewed from Williams Road). They will be connected directly to the Mall through a proposed 1,575 square foot masonry structure. Restroom facilities for the new air structures will be provided within the mall. The project is located at Summit Park Mall on Williams Road in the Town of Wheatfield, New York.

Wyoming County - The Village of Arcade, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Arcade Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) Expansion will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The project involves the expansion of the existing Arcade WWTF from 0.5 MGD to 0.75 MGD. The work involves the installation of a third contact stabilization tank, related piping, rehabilitation of the existing stabilization tanks, replacement of selective process equipment, repairs and improvements to the existing buildings and the construction of two additions on the existing sludge storage buildings. The project is located on Hurdville Road in the Village of Arcade, New York.
